Hi, I'm Blossom, a very sweet Chihuahua X rescued from a shelter where I was taken with many others from a hoarding situation.

I was scared and unsure of my new surroundings when I first came to CARL, but I am slowly learning what it means to be loved and cared for. I now make good eye contact with the volunteers working with me. I will let volunteers pet me with caution, but I don't try to run away. I will also now take treats gently from their hands. The typical kennel noises don't seem to affect me either.

I'll need a patient and understanding person who will continue to give me the time and space to adjust at my own discretion. Other dogs, cats and children are unknowns for me at this time.
